Certified Pre-Owned Program
As part of our exclusive CPO program, the manufacturer warranty of eligible Fountaine Pajot catamarans can be transferred to the new owner. The program is subject to a 150-point inspection coordinated by ACY’s expert team of technicians in collaboration with third-party inspectors. This process ensures the most confidence and transparency in the sale of the most desirable preowned catamarans from Fountaine Pajot, both sailing catamarans and power catamarans.
Scope
All Fountaine Pajot boats still under manufacturer warranty.
Program Benefits
- Under certain conditions, pre-owned boats can qualify for a free transfer of warranty. This should greatly facilitate the sale of preowned boats and help increase the value of the transaction.
- This program is exclusively offered to customers of ACY Yachts (“ACY”) with the support of Fountaine Pajot.
- For the buyer/new owner: Free Transfer of Warranty. If the boat is still covered by the warranty of the manufacturer, then the new owner will have the right to take full advantage of the remaining period of warranty.
- For the seller: Subject to the below conditions, ACY will, upon the sale of the boat, waive the cost of the following inspection.
- 50% of the cost of Certified Pre-Owned 150-point inspection, to be conducted by ACY or ACY-approved expert reimbursed to the seller at the date of settlement.
To Qualify For This Program
- The seller of the pre-owned boat must disclose any known issues or damage with the boat.
- The pre-owned boat must pass the full Certified Pre-Owned 150-point inspection by ACY’s authorized expert, and, if necessary, be repaired to qualify and enter the program.
- The seller must list his or her vessel for resale through ACY Yachts in accordance with the terms and conditions of ACY’s standard central listing agreement for a minimum period of 18 months or until the vessel has been sold.
