Reception, Preparation, Dockage & Handover to Purchaser.

Services Include:

  • Reception of the boat from the factory
  • Vessel inspection and inventory/spec confirmation in La Rochelle, France
  • Report any defects, blemishes, or Issues to FP Factory After Production Department
  • Management of post-factory warranty issues in La Rochelle prior to delivery
  • Management of After Market Installations in France
  • Transport to ship for loading in La Rochelle, South Hampton or another port for shipping to final destination; Palm Beach, Baltimore, or Charter Base.
  • Track delivery and convey available information to owner
  • Arrive to boat at the Port and Prep the boat for launch. Remove Packing, turn on systems, arrange for fuel delivery, take pictures and video of launching
  • Launch boat from ship into the water, start engines and Genset and Deliver to commissioning docks
  • Receive vessel in Annapolis, Florida, or Caribbean + Vessel inspection
  • Inspect boat for ordered items, clean and detail after delivery (sea or cargo)
  • Inspection of bottom, props, and sail drives
  • File warranty claims as necessary and expedite repairs
  • Service engines and lower units, as required per manufacturer specs
  • Pre-commissioning meeting with owner to confirm local options, outstanding warranty items, and schedule accordingly
  • Manage all contracted commissioning and outfitting work
  • Test all systems, check and adjust instruments, gauges, calibrate electronics, and sea trial
  • Fill all tanks, water, and fuel
  • Test every door drawer, plumbing electric for alignment and proper function
  • Prepare reference file with equipment documentation and warranty cards
  • Warranty registration(s) for yacht, engines, and electronics
  • Have boat cleaned and detailed before Handover
  • Up to two months transient dockage and electric at ACY commissioning facility until handover
  • Technical briefing and sea trial handover
  • Review warranty process and procedures with Owner
  • Two days onboard instruction with a qualified skipper, after handover
